★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1BEWARE!I called on morning of to see if they had availability for small boho braids. I spoke to Diamond and she said yes to come in at noon. I was quoted $220 over the phone. I arrived on time, the 2 girls had no idea of such appointment. Diamond finally showed up around 1:30PM, I showed her what I wanted (1st pic) Diamond then said my natural hair was long so now it’s going to be $300, and an additional $50 for the boho curls. Total $350! At 3PM, I was asked to pay so she could go purchase the boho hair. I sat in the chair for 9hrs! Only to be left with something completely opposite of what I asked for! (2nd pic) Barely any curls, left stringy, no mouse NOTHING! As soon as I got home, my scalp was hot and red. A few moments later I broke out all over my hairline with red bumps! (3rd pic) Take your hard earned money elsewhere! I felt robbed and disappointed!
July 09 · Joelle CalderonThis was my first experience going to a Braider for my daughter. AND let me tell you Miss Diamond did not disappoint me. I barely write reviews but I seen Miss Diamond experience a rude customer first hand. The last review previous to me is far from my experience at her shop. It is a shop with multiple women braiding at once so there is noise to be expected. Not only did she accommodate me after I was a bit late. She also had supplies on hand to purchase if you didn’t bring what was needed. Her prices are very affordable and her multi tasking skills are above what I could have expected from one person. She got us out of there in a reasonable time, all while dealing with rude customers, braiding hair and taking new appoints. She definitely has a talent beyond compare. Thank you so much for a great first experience and may you get blessings times 10. See you all soon 😊
August 16 · isaac ramosDiamond, the lead braider/owner is very professional. She did my 10 year old daughter’s hair. I love that she is understanding, personable, and attentive. I didn’t know which style would be good for my baby girl and Diamond helped me pick a style based on my budget. I would have to say her customer service is impeccable and she respects people's time. She does everything in her willpower to ensure the clients needs are met. Most of all, her communication is amazing; she listens and provides insight on what’s best for the customer’s hair type. As you know, not everyone has thick & full hair. So if you’re in need of a braider who cares about your edges and practices healthy hair care, Diamond’s African Hair Braiding is the place to go. Oh yeah, she can replicate just about any of the latest hair styles. BOOK THAT APPOINTMENT! #5STARS
