December 09 · Jessica WarfieldI just got my hair done the first time here she was fast and polite and offer snacks and drinks I wouldCome back in a few months and get it done again thanks
January 15 · Lashawn StewartCalled wed for appt on sat. was told to call sat at 8am i guess for confirmation. When she answered she told me 930 for my appt. I arrived early, when 930 came no one was there. Waiting 15 mins, yet no one called to notify me there were not going to be on time. After calling she said give her ten mins. This was at 940. No one was at the shop still. A presumed to be customer says they always late. Not acceptable. I entered the shop at 1015. So the lady had to call some one come do my hair. She told me it be 15 mins, so i had to wait longer. Eventually the lady started on my hair at 11am. Not sure my i had to call to confirm appt to still be treated like i didnt have one. Ive visited this shop twice before no service like this before. The shop was cold, no heat. When the lady trimmed my twist, there was not a cape, so hair was everywhere. Disappointed to say the least.
March 10 · Lauren HendrixWould not recommend this shop. Several problems. To begin with the stylist was late for the appointment and asked me to wait an hour for her to get to the shop and set up. I actually ended up waiting for longer than even that. So by the time my hair was actually starting to be twisted it was an hour and a half later than my scheduled appointment. The card and a poster on their window indicate that they accept cards rather than cash, so I came with my card instead of cash only for them to tell me midway through that they no longer accept cards. I had to walk out with unfinished hair to go to the ATM.I have very thick hair which I'm aware of. Most stylists have enough sense to make bigger parts to account for how much hair I have, but she used TINY parts despite me asking her multiple times not to. This led to what usually takes no more than 8 hours becoming a 12 hour ordeal. I asked multiple times for an estimate of how long she would be taking because I had to get up quite early in the morning and she refused to give a straight answer, insisting she was almost done despite the fact that when I felt back there myself she was barely halfway done with my hair. (At this point I had been there for several hours already.)She also ate during the appointment which is understandable, or at least it would be if she hadn't arrived an hour and a half late. Surely that's enough time to eat beforehand? Plus, I don't entirely like the idea of someone who's touching my hair also eating at the same time. It's just gross. The crowning moment was really when she insisted I pay her after about 2 hours of her twisting my hair. This to me is strange since no stylist I have ever been to has requested pay before finishing my head to my desired specifications so insisting on being paid before she was even close to finishing really rubbed me the wrong way.Overall an unpleasant experience and not worth the money I spent. There are several other braiding shops in this general area and you will likely have better luck at one of those.
March 12 · Taariya DavisI am still sitting in the chair as I write this review on a hair appointment that was originally supposed to start at 8am...I was told to call an hour ahead which I did and agreed to show up at 8 instead of 9. I arrived promptly at 9 to find the salon still closed , now we not gonna consider this area that they just left me waiting in and decided to stop answering the phone, so I went back home. I was contacted back and still told to wait another 45 minutes to return. At last I'm in the salon but it would still take several more minutes before "they" would begin. The whole time I have been sitting here I have to deal with the tag team taking breaks on my hair while they tend to screaming and hollering children. By far this is one of the worst experiences I have had at a salon ... signed still here almost 10 hrs after my voyage began.... But I guess I can say the braids were nice , if your willing to sacrifice your sanity...
